OUR HERITAGE
De Dietrich has been built upon a dynasty of visionaries. The story began in 1684 in Jaegerthal, a valley north
of Strasbourg, with a bold vision. Johann Dietrich took a leap of faith, investing in the forging industry and
marking every creation with a hunting horn—making history with the first industrial logo. La Maison De
Dietrich entered into a new era under the leadership of Jean de Dietrich, the successor who was given a
peerage by Louis XV, and subsequently with Amélie de Dietrich, who was the first woman in industry to bring
the importance of design and appearance into industrial production. Driven by a passion for innovation,
creativity, and the French art of living, De Dietrich has continued to set new standards, blending heritage with
modern excellence.
